Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne County Planning Commission will vote on issuing a Conditional Use Permit for the new Indigeny Reserve facility.
The company will produce products like hard apple cider and brandy from its site in the Apple Valley Region of Sonora, off Lyons Bald Mountain Road. They also plan to open an Indigeny Reserve tasting room.
The Conditional Use Permit would allow the processing of apples and other fruits not grown on the Cedar Ridge Apple Ranch property, allow retail sales of beverages produced on site, and allow for special events like meetings, small events with music and farm tours.
The company is committed to organic, sustainable agriculture. The application was submitted to the county by Cedar Ridge Apple Ranch, LLC owner Jay Watson.
The Planning Commission will meet on October 19th at 6pm in the Board of Supervisors Chambers.
