Cause Of Fire

Mountain Ranch, CA – Officials have determined the cause of a six acre vegetation fire that started Thursday afternoon in Mountain Ranch.

CAL Fire reports that a tree fell into a PG&E power line, and it quickly ignited nearby grass in the 8200 block of Whiskey Slide Road. The fire started at around 1:30pm and Whiskey Slide Road was closed for a few hours. The fire was attacked from the air and ground. No injuries were reported.
