Sonora, CA — It was a quiet weekend for fire activity in Tuolumne and Calaveras Counties.
However, CAL Fire reports that Mariposa and Madera Counties had eight lightning fires reported yesterday. The fires are primarily in isolated areas. The largest is 95 acres and near Hensley Lake. Crews have been attacking the fires from the air and ground and will continue to do so today.
