Copperopolis, CA– Firefighters contained two small vegetation fires in Calaveras County this afternoon.
The first ¼ acre fire was reported in the noon hour on Hubbard at Armstrong Roads in the Sheep Ranch area.
The second fire broke out after 1 pm and was also ¼ acre in size. It was located on Chief Road in Copperopolis.
Multiple resources responded to both fires including air attack from Columbia. No structures were threatened and the cause of the fires are currently under investigation.
