Pendley Pleads Guilty

Columbia, CA — Former Columbia Elementary School employee Brennan Pendley faces a year in county jail.


The Tuolumne County District Attorney’s Office reports that Pendley has plead guilty to two felony counts of having unlawful intercourse with a minor and a separate charge of sending harmful matter to a minor (text message).


As part of a plea agreement with the District Attorney’s Office, Pendley will spend 12 months in county jail, enter a counseling program and register as a sex offender. Pendley’s crimes committed were with a student while he was employed as an after school aide. Pendley’s formal sentencing will be July 22 at 10am in Tuolumne County Superior Court.
