Sonora, CA– Just in time for the Memorial Day weekend, Highway 108 Sonora Pass and Highway 4 Ebbetts Pass are now open. Both passes were open by the noon hour today.
The snow totals for the two areas were especially high during this season, with multiple late spring storms affecting the region. Intermittent chain controls were still in effect on the east side of Sonora Pass as late as last week.
Yosemite National Park will not be opening Highway 120 Tioga Pass this weekend.
