Sonora, CA — Today is the 60th annual National Day of Prayer.
It traditionally falls on the first Thursday in May. It is designed to be a time to reflect and give thanks. In Sonora a community prayer service will be held at the St. Matthew Lutheran Church. It begins at 11am. A fundraiser luncheon will follow at noon hosted by Christian Women’s Fellowship. Proceeds will benefit Interfaith, WATCH and Foothill Pregnancy Center.
