Sonora, CA — A man suffered only minor injuries after driving off Lyons Bald Mountain Road and going 30 feet down the embankment.
The accident occurred around eight o’clock this morning. The vehicle was on its side when emergency crews arrived on scene. The CHP reports that 51-year-old Russell Lawson Jr. of Copperopolis was taken to Sonora Regional Medical Center. He was later charged with DUI. No other vehicles were involved.
