No Conclusive Cause Of Death

Jamestown, CA — Authorities have completed autopsies on both victims from the fatal Jamestown Mine scuba diving incident.

37-year-old Jamie Pollard of Stockton and 34-year-old Dale Allen Dedic of Lodi were killed over the weekend while scuba diving at the Jamestown Mine property.

Sheriff’s Office Spokesperson Sgt. Jeff Wilson says that the autopsies did not show a conclusive cause of death in either case. He notes that they are still awaiting the results of a lab analysis. A diving equipment expert will be examining the equipment used by the divers to see if there was any type of malfunction.

Friends of the victims report that the two men were experienced scuba divers.
