Angels Camp, CA — The Take it to Heart Foundation has given a donation to the future Mark Twain Saint Joseph’s Hospital Family Medical Center in Angels Camp.
$11,106 was recently donated. The Take it to Heart Foundation promotes a heart healthy lifestyle for Mother Lode residents and supports the mission of the American Heart Association.
“Heart Failure is the number one cause of death for our women,” states Lisa Westbrook, Foundation President. “The new Family Medical Center will have a focus on women’s health and the Take it to Heart Foundation feels strongly about this connection and what it will mean to the Angels Camp community.”
The Family Medical Center in Angels Camp is scheduled to open in late 2012. It will be located on Stanislaus Avenue.
