Jamestown Home Invasion

The Tuolumne County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a robbery in Jamestown.


Two victims report that a group of people forced entry into their home yesterday in the 18000 block of 4th Avenue. The Sheriff’s Office says that one of the suspects showed a weapon and demanded money and valuables. The group left with an undisclosed amount of cash and personal items. The two victims, 62-year-old James D. Roel and 53-year-old Sharon L. Jones, reported that they were also assaulted and sustained minor injuries.


No arrests have been made and the Sheriff’s Office is investigating several leads. Anyone with information should call 533-5815.
