Snow Slows Trash Collection

Sonora, CA — Heavy snow is preventing Waste Management from collecting trash and recyclables in many areas east of Sonora.

Some of the streets are also blocked by trees and power lines. Customers that do not have their trash collected this week are asked to place it out again next week during the regular collection day. Two times the amount of trash will be picked up next week at no additional charge. Waste Management claims that it will make every effort to get trash picked up this week.
