Mcferrin Highlights Jazz Festival

Columbia, CA — Grammy Award winner Bobby McFerrin was one of the performers at this past weekend’s Columbia College Vocal Jazz Festival.

McFerrin packed the house and performed two sold out concerts on Saturday. Other well known performers included Barbara Morrison and Don Shelton.

The three also led seminars for students attending the event, which draws hundreds of jazz students. McFerrin may be best known for his 1988 hit, “Don’t Worry Be Happy.” It was the first time since 1996 that he had taken part in the Vocal Jazz Festival.
