San Andreas Multiple Vehicle Accident

San Andreas, CA– Two injuries were reported in a multiple vehicle accident yesterday in San Andreas.

According to the CHP, the accident happened when four vehicles were traveling east bound on Highway 12. The first vehicle ahead of the others, stopped and attempted to make a left turn on Central Hill Road.

Because the first vehicle traveling from behind was driving at an unsafe speed, it was unable to stop in time for the stopped vehicles ahead.  This action resulted in all four cars colliding.

An 8-year-old girl and 52-year-old man sustained minor injuries. The other motorists were uninjured. Two of the drivers are from Valley Springs, one is from San Andreas, and the other is from Galt.
