Angels Camp, CA — A Sonora woman was killed in a head-on collision this morning north of Angels Camp.
The CHP reports that Lisa Marie Wilson was driving a Honda Accord on Highway 49 and her vehicle drifted into the opposing traffic lane. Wilson, 21, collided head-on with a GMC pickup truck and died from injuries sustained in the crash. No one else was in her vehicle.
The driver of the pickup, 20-year-old Benjamin W. Grant of Mountain Ranch, sustained moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital. A passenger in Grant’s truck, 34-year-old Daniel Crane of Angels Camp, also reported moderate injuries.
The accident was at 7:35am near the intersection of Cosgrave Road.
