Wallace, CA– The Calaveras County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a suspicious death.
Sunday afternoon on East Bay Municipal Utility District property on Pattison and Camanche Parkway in Wallace, a body of an adult male was found.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, a Sheriff’s deputy discovered the body hanging from a tree in an apparent suicide.
The body was identified as 32-year-old Kyle Whitney of Fremont. A vehicle was also found near the roadway. A suicide note was found in Kyles vehicle and there were no obvious signs of foul play.
