Saturday Morning Power Outage Update

Sonora, CA — PG&E reports that there are 13,000 customers without power in Tuolumne County this morning, and another 10,000 in Calaveras County.

The greater Sonora area (Phoenix Lake, Cedar Ridge, etc) has around 9,000 without electricity. There are 3,500 scattered around the Twain Harte area. In Calaveras County, the Arnold area has the most customers without power, with 7,400. PG&E is not able to give an estimated restoration time because the outages are so widespread and because of the changing weather conditions. To report an outage or try to receive information on a specific neighborhood, call 1-800-PGE-5000.

Extra resources have been called to the area by PG&E, including trucks from as far south as San Diego.
