Truck Destroyed In Fire

Columbia, CA — Fire did $1,500 damage to a truck in the 11000 block of Mount Brow Road.


CAL Fire reports that the 1973 Chevy C60 truck was not registered, and the driver fled the scene before officials arrived on scene. The vehicle was totaled in the fire. The blaze was quickly contained and did not spread into any nearby vegetation. The cause of the fire is unknown. It was reported at 11:29am on Saturday.


CAL Fire units responded from Standard and Jamestown, and the Columbia College Fire Department also sent an engine.
