Forum On Economic Growth Monday

San Andreas, CA–  A public forum co-sponsored by The Resource Connection is coming to San Andreas this Monday.

“It’s an open forum discussing economic development issues in Calaveras County,” said Resource Connection Director, Jeannie Hayward. “The encouraging thing about attending is that all are welcome. An invitation is extended to all who have interest or concern in what’s going on in Calaveras County.”

In partnership with USDA Rural Development and The Resource Connection, the forum will discuss findings identified in the USDA Rural Development’s “Jobs, Economic Development and Sustainable Communities” report. This report was compiled based on input provided by community leaders, citizens, business owners and organizations from throughout rural California.

The USDA encourages business owners, state and local officials, farmers and ranchers, non-profit groups, health care providers, educators and all others interested to attend.

The forum will take place this Monday from 1:00-3:00 pm in the Sequoia Room at Calaveras Works and Human Services at 509 Mountain Ranch Road.
