Angels Camp, CA – The Angels Camp City Council will elect a Mayor and discuss the City Administrator position on Tuesday. Current Mayor Jack Lynch and new Councilmember Stuart Raggio will also be given the oath of office, after winning election this past November.
Prior to the meeting, the Council will meet in closed session to discuss the City Administrator position. Tim Shearer has been on leave for nearly nine months because he has been serving with the National Guard in Iraq. He is back home and has indicated that he is ready to return to the position.
The closed meeting begins at 5pm Tuesday and the Regular meeting will begin at 6pm.
