Road Hazards Across Mother Lode

Sonora, CA — The wet weather is helping to create some driving hazards.

The CHP reports that there is a small rockslide on Old Priest Grade. No further information is immediately available.

A vehicle has gone off the road and hit a tree on Highway 49 near O’Hara Drive. There were no injuries reported. To view a map of the location, click here.

There is a two vehicle crash on Shaws Flat Road near Springfield Road. Minor injuries have been reported. Click here to view a map.

Also a vehicle has reportedly struck a snowplow on Highway 4 up in the Arnold region. No one was hurt.

The foothills are receiving heavy rain, and areas such as Arnold and Twain Harte have received heavy snow. (As you can see in the picture submitted by Holly Azevedo)
