Burson Man Dies In Nevada Rollover Accident

FERNLEY, Nev.– A 32-year-old California man has been identified as the driver of an SUV who died Sunday in a single-vehicle rollover on U.S. Interstate 80 about 60 miles east of Reno.

The Nevada Highway Patrol says Bradley Weimer of Burson was headed west about 8:30 a.m. when his 2003 Nissan Murano drifted into the center median about 30 miles east of Fernley.

Trooper Scott Morron says the vehicle continued toward the eastbound lanes and rolled over several times before coming to rest on its wheels on the south side of the highway.

Although he was wearing a seat belt, Weimer’s injuries were fatal and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
