More Sierra Snow On Christmas Day

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for the Sierra Nevada above 3500 feet, from Tuesday at noon through Wednesday at midnight.

Snow levels will range from 3500 through 6000 feet.

Four to eight inches of snow accumulation is expected above 3500 through 5000 feet. One to two feet of snow is likely above 6500 through 7000 feet.

Winds of fifteen to thirty mph are likely, with gusts ranging from forty-five to fifty mph over the crest of the Sierra.
