Lower Gas Prices

Sonora, CA — Many holiday travelers are enjoying the less expensive gasoline.


The Lundberg Survey of fuel prices shows that cost to fill up the tank has dropped by an average of 12 cents, nationwide, over the past two weeks. Regular unleaded is now averaging $3.26.


The average price for regular unleaded in California is notably higher, $3.50 a gallon. However, gas can be purchased in the Mother Lode cheaper than the national average. The myMotherLode.com Gas Price Section shows that regular unleaded is selling in Sonora from $3.15-$3.49. In San Andreas, the price is averaging around $3.39 a gallon.
