Double Duty For A T.U.D. Board Member

Sonora, CA – Delbert Rotelli was just re-elected to a second term on the Tuolumne Utilities District in November and now he has been given the nod to join another water group. The Mountain Counties Water Resources Association (MCWRA) elected Rotelli to a two year term. It will begin on January 8, 2013.

T.U.D. General Manager Pete Kampa says, “Our involvement with the MCWRA organization is essential to TUD in the many critical water issues facing, not only our District, but all the water agencies in the Sierra foothills. Board member Rotelli will be a great addition to the executive membership team of MCWRA.”

Organized in the early 1950s the MCWRA works with the Department of Water Resources to identify water needs and plans for water development in the Mountain County area. Currently there are 15 Sierra Foothill water agencies involved with group.
