MTSJH Opening Cancer Center

San Andreas, CA – Hoping that many patients will no longer need to travel out of county, Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital announced this morning that it will soon open a Cancer Center.

It will be located on the hospital campus, at 700 Mountain Ranch Road, Suite B. Treatments will include medical oncology, hematology, PET Scanner, chemotherapy, and infusion therapy. The Cancer Center will open within the next month.

MTSJH President Craig Marks says, “There has been a need in Calaveras County, and the surrounding communities, for quality cancer care services, close to home.”

Medical Oncologist, Dr. Robert D’Acquisto has been added to the staff and will work at the new Cancer Center. He has practiced in the Central Valley and Sierra Foothills for 25 years.
