Arnold Bike Trail Receives Money

Calaveras County has received $45K from the California Transportation Commission.

CTC reports that the money will be used to construct a bicycle trail in Arnold from Oak Circle to Pine Drive. It is designed to improve mobility within the community, and improve connectivity with the existing Arnold Rim Trail. Additional funds will be needed for actual construction.

This week the California Transportation Commission allocated $306 million to 44 projects statewide. They needed to have a stated goal of easing traffic congestion, improving safety or supporting economic growth.
