Power Outages Update

Our wet windy weather is to blame for power outages in the Mother Lode. 159 residents near Cherry Lake in Tuolumne County have been without power for nearly six hours. That is due to 4 outages.

In Calaveras County, only 3 customers in the Mountain Ranch area are still without electricity because of 2 outages. Earlier this afternoon, 106 residents had no lights and in the dark for nearly three hours.


PG & E says crews are working on the problems. They have no estimated time of repair for those still without power.


If you want to report a power outage or have a specific outage you want information about you can call 1-800-PGE-5000.


Update 6 p.m.: PG & E reports all the lights are back on for customers in Tuolumne and Calaveras County.
