CVIN Infrastructure Update

Sonora, CA — Crews are once again out installing the infrastructure for the Central Valley Next Generation Broadband Internet project.

The 18-county project was funded by the federal stimulus package in 2009. This week motorists can expect 5-10 minute delays on O’Byrnes Ferry Road, between Highway 108 and the O’Byrnes Ferry Bridge. Crews will also be staged on Parrotts Ferry Road, between Gold Springs Drive and the Parrotts Ferry Bridge. Work will be taking place during the daytime hours.

Workers will be directing traffic in those areas.
