Bizarre Behavior Gets Two People Arrested

San Andreas, CA — The Calaveras County Sheriff’s Office arrested two people in unrelated incidents after they acted oddly while at the Sheriff’s Office on Thursday.

Sheriff’s Officials report a female Sheriff’s Service Technician was walking to work around 7:20 a.m. when she was chased and yelled at by 59 year old Harold Wayne Bunnell of Valley Springs. She ran in the Sheriff’s Office Building for help. Deputies found Bunnell and allege he was under the influence of methamphetamine. He was arrested and charged with being Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance.

Deputies say a little later in the day, 49 year old Camille Suzanne Green of Mokelumne Hill, walked into the Sheriff’s Office lobby carrying a loaded revolver inside a holster on her hip. The deputy on duty at the front desk immediately questioned Green about the gun and took the handgun from her. Green told deputies she was carrying the gun because she was afraid for her life. However, Deputies say she was unable to give a coherent answer on why she felt that fear. After further questioning deputies allege that Green was also under the influence of methamphetamine. She was arrested on felony gun and numerous drug charges.
