Time To Stock Up On Books

Sonora, CA – You may want to stock up on some library books and other materials before the holiday hits. The Tuolumne County Library will be closed for county furloughs and the Thanksgiving holiday from November 19th through the 26th.

Library officials say this is the first of two planned county furloughs. Also, the Friends of the Library Book Nook at the Sonora Central Library will also be closed during the library’s furlough days. However, they say the Friends of the Groveland Library will open their book store on Saturday, November 24th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Groveland Library Meeting Room.

Library officials say you can go online to check out EBooks or renew books. Click here for details. You can also call this 24 hours number 533-1648 during the closed weeks; or just keep your library materials until the Tuolumne County Library reopens on Tuesday, November 27th.
