Community Transformation Initiative

Tuolumne County leaders are looking at ways to promote healthy living.

A panel of guests will speak about the “Community Transformation Initiative” on this weekend’s Mother Lode Views. Tuolumne County is expected to receive $237,000 for a five year period, as part of the federal Affordable Care Act, to put in place health prevention programs and initiatives. One of the first decisions was to spend money to expand the Dragoon Gulch Trail in Sonora.

The guests this weekend include Tuolumne County Public Health Director Dr. Todd Stolp, City of Sonora Community Development Director Rachelle Kellogg and Community Transformation Grant Coordinator Carlen Maggio.
