Angels Camp, CA– Arnold woman hit a guard rail and fled the scene of the accident on foot.
CHP reports it happened just after 3:00pm Monday afternoon on Murphys Grade Road just west of Upper French Gulch Road in Calaveras County.
They say 40 year old Michele Eastwood was drunk while driving her 2005 dodge truck and tried to make a left hand turn and instead smashed into a guard rail. CHP say Eastwood got out of her truck and walked to Angels Medical Center in Angels Camp where officers arrested her for DUI.
