Columbia Woman Hurt In Crash

Columbia, CA — A Columbia woman was injured in a collision on Parrotts Ferry Road at the intersection of Sawmill Flat Road.

It happened yesterday morning at 11:25. The CHP reports that 18-year-old Moriah Hoefert of Ceres turned from Sawmill Flat onto Parrotts Ferry, but failed to yield the right-of-way to an oncoming car driven by 73-year-old Riki Holman of Columbia. Holman had no time to take action, so she slammed into Hoefert’s car.

Holman was flown to Doctors Medical Center in Modesto to treat reported “major” injuries. Hoefert was taken to Sonora Regional Medical Center, where she was treated and released.
