Victim Identified In Motorcycle Crash

Tuolumne County, CA – CHP reports the accident happened at the curvy stretch of Rawhide Road near Rimrock Road Monday morning.

CHP says 47 year old Anthony John Watson of Jamestown received possible head injuries after his motorcycle collided with a pick-up truck. Watson was driving his 2009 Suzuki on Rawhide Road when 47 year old Robert Allan Hawks of Sonora made a left turn on to Rimrock Road in his 2007 Chevrolet pick-up truck. CHP says Hawks didn’t see the motorcycle which was going about 35 mph and struck it.

Watson was air lifted to Doctor’s Medical Center in Modesto. CHP says Watson was wearing a helmet.
