Collision Blocks Highway 49 In Calaveras County

Update at 3:30 p.m.: The CHP reports no injuries in this two-vehicle crash that was blocking the main thoroughfare. It took tow crews about 20 minutes to remove the wreckage as officers directed traffic.  The roadway has completely reopened.

Original post at 3 p.m.: Emergency crews are on the scene of a crash on Highway 49 at the intersection of Mountain Ranch Road in San Andreas.

The CHP reports that two-vehicles collided blocking the main thoroughfare. Officers are directing one-way traffic, which is getting back up. There is no word on injuries at this time. We will bring you more details as soon as they come into the newsroom.
