Jamestown, CA — CHP reports a the driver of a motorcycle smashed into a fence pole and a road closure sign.
It happened just after 7pm on Sims Road and Highway 49.
Highway 49 is open but traffic is backed up. CHP asks motorists to avoid the area if possible.

Update 8:15pm: Roadways are open. CHP is still investigating the cause of the crash.
