Additional Delays On Parrotts Ferry

Sonora, CA — T.U.D. will be directing traffic on Parrotts Ferry Road a little longer than initially estimated.

Earlier this week the District began a grant funded project that will extend a water line on Sawmill Flat Road. T.U.D. reports that crews will remain at the intersection through Friday, between the hours of 7am-5pm. One way traffic controls will be in effect and minor delays should be expected. The construction itself will continue for several weeks, but the delays on Parrotts Ferry Road are only for a minimal period.

Workers are extending an 8-inch and 10-inch water main along Sawmill Flat Road from Parrotts Ferry Road to Rambler Road. They are also installing fire hydrants along Sawmill Flat.
