New Leader For Calaveras County Water District

San Andreas, CA – Effective this week, Lynn Gentry is the Interim General Manager for the Calaveras County Water District. The District Board made that decision at its Wednesday meeting.

Gentry began working for the District eight years ago as an Accountant. Most recently, she was the Director of Support Services, in charge of the Customer Service, Finance, IT, and Human Resources departments.

She is replacing Joone Lopez who is heading to southern California to be the General Manager of the Moulton Niguel Water District. It serves several areas of Orange County including Mission Viejo. Lopez joined the CCWD in May of 2010.

District Officials say Lopez will work with the Board, staff, and Gentry to ensure a smooth transition.

Board President, Don Stump and Vice President, Dennis Dooley were appointed as the Ad-Hoc Committee for the negotiation of the IGM contract, which will be reviewed in a future Board meeting.
