Burning Ban In Effect

Cal Fire says all burning is suspended.

Originally, Monday, June I8th was the start of the suspension, but due to our hot, humid, windy weather and dangerous fire conditions they have changed it to Friday, June 15th.

Cal Fire says the only way you will be able to burn debris until fall is for health and safety reason. Those permits can be issued by CAL Fire, but only after they have inspected the property.

CAL Fire recommends recycling, chipping or composting instead of burning during this time. You can click here for more details on those alternatives.
