Cool Tuesday In The Sierra Nevada

Cool and breezy conditions will continue in the Sierra Nevada through Tuesday evening.


According to the National Weather Service the maximum temperatures will run some fifteen to twenty degrees below normal for early June.


Lingering clouds are likely in the Sierra, but no rain is expected.


Temperatures will drop well below freezing above 6000 through 7000 feet.  


A warming trend will begin on Wednesday with much lighter winds and mainly clear skies.
