A Crash Is Stopping Traffic In Sonora

Sonora, CA — A motorcycling crash on O’Byrnes Ferry Road is blocking the north lane of traffic.

The accident happened near the Sierra Conservation Center. An ambulance is on the scene.


There is no word on injuries.


Traffic is backed up so please travel with caution in the area.


Update: CHP officials say 54 year old Garry Grandstaff, of Modesto lost control of his bike on a curve. He has multiple broken bones and was airlifted to Doctors hospital, in Modesto.
Police say alcohol is a factor in the crash.
