More Bikes At Yosemite

El Portal, CA — You’ll want to keep an eye out for more bikes on the road if you’re heading to Yosemite this summer. The El Portal employees are taking to the streets to help reduce transportation emissions.

They are being equipped with bikes, helmets, locks and repairs thanks to a 5 thousand dollar grant by the National Parks Conservation Association.

The Climate Friendly Bike Program is voluntary. The park will track workers miles to calculate emission reductions. You get a break as well with more parking spaces.
