No Snow Means Open Roads

Yosemite,CA — Tioga Pass is opening to the public next Monday at noon.

Yosemite officials say half the normal snowpack has allowed them to clear the roadway early. There will be limited utilities and no shops or campgrounds open. Park officials caution visitors to prepare for snow, ice and treacherous stream crossing on the roadway and hiking trails.

No word from Caltrans yet on when Highway 108 Sonora Pass and Highway 4 Ebbetts Pass will open.
