Yosemite Announces Road Opening

A popular seasonal road in Yosemite National Park is opening today.

Park officials say that Glacier Point Road will open at 5pm. There is still no word on when Tioga Pass will open for the season. Park Rangers warn that Glacier Point Road may be wet due to melting snow, and wildlife may be present on or near the road. Bridalveil Campground along Glacier Point Road has not opened for the season.

It is noted that Glacier Point Road could close down at any point if Spring storms hit Yosemite.
