Bobby Rapp Motorcycle Run

Jamestown, CA — Motorcyclists and Mother Lode residents will be in Jamestown tomorrow to remember fallen Army Sgt. Bobby Rapp.

The annual Sgt. Bobby Rapp Scholarship Memorial Motorcycle Run has been held in Jamestown each of the fours years since the Army Sgt. and Sonora High graduate Bobby Rapp was killed in Afghanistan in March 2008.

The event is put on by the Vietnam Veterans of America Post 391 and raises money for graduating Tuolumne County high school seniors.

Activities and registration started at 9am, with the run getting underway around 11am. Minor traffic delays are expected, exercise caution when driving in the area.
