Groveland’s Annual Family Wellness Fair

The annual Family Wellness Fair, one of the larger community events in Groveland, returns this Tuesday morning.


Linda Hunter of Soroptimist International of Groveland, was Friday’s KVML “Newsmaker of the Day”.


The Soroptimists are sponsoring the free-to-attend event inside of Tenaya Elementary School’s gymnasium on Tuesday April 10th from 8am – noon.


Hunter anticipates about forty-five various types of exhibitors and a crowd size ranging between 250 to 300 people.


Free services will include screenings for bone density, hearing, vision, body fat, blood sugar, diabetes, sports physicals and more.


Sonora Regional Medical Center will conduct a standard blood panel, for which there is a $20 charge. A twelve hour fast is required. For men, there is an an optional PSA teste for an extra $10.
