Jamestown Woman Killed In Crash

The CHP reports that 28-year-old Colton James Roberts of Copperopolis faces charges of vehicular manslaughter following Friday’s head-on collision on Pool Station Road.

The CHP reports that Roberts collided head-on in his 2003 Acura with car driven by Mark Bottorff of Jamestown. A passenger in Bottorff’s 2002 Kia, 71-year-old Corazon Hicks of Jamestown, was killed.

The CHP says drug influence played a factor in the crash. Roberts was taken to Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital for moderate injuries. Bottorff was transported to Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital to treat major injuries. The collision happened at 2:05pm just south of San Domingo Creek.
