Tuolumne County Student Art Show This Weekend

The Tuolumne County Student Art Show is coming up this Saturday in the CSAC gallery.


Louise McPeeters, coordinator for the show, was Thursday’s KVML “Newsmaker of the Day”.


The Central Sierra Arts Council (CSAC), in partnership with Tuolumne County Schools, supports National Youth Arts Month along with the Annual Celebration of the Arts in Schools Student Exhibit.


This year the exhibit will be held in the Arts Council Gallery at 193 South Washington Street from March 10th through April 21st, 2012.


The show opens on Saturday from 2-4 PM. Several musical performances will feature local students during the reception.


The show will feature from works from students K through 12. Works from students in grades 7-12 will be juried and ribbons will be awarded.

The “Newsmaker of the Day” is heard each weekday morning on AM 1450 KVML at 6:47, 7:47 and 8:47am.
