Pleasant Weather Comes To Quick End

According to the National Weather Service, a small storm system will move into central California on Sunday night and Monday.

Although only light precipitation is expected, the snow levels will drop to 1000 through 2000 feet.

Snow accumulations will range from a dusting to three inches, in both the Mother Lode and the Sierra Nevada.

Strong gusty winds are also expected in the mountains through Monday.

A stronger storm system is expected Tuesday night and Wednesday.

This will bring valley rain and mountain snow to the area and wind gusts in the Sierra Nevada, ranging from fifty to sixty mph through Thursday.

Yet another round of showers is expected on Thursday and Friday, with a return to fair weather by next weekend.
